Supported by RTHK’s Community-Involved Broadcasting Service (CIBS), Hear My Grief delicately explores the hidden hurt and sorrow in our society. The series documents cases of miscarriage, loss of LGBTQ+ partners, suicide of loved ones, passing of pets, as well as grief experienced by people with intellectual disabilities and their helpers. Each episode focuses on a distinct type of sorrow that is difficult to express or often overlooked, offering a safe space for authentic stories and breaking stigma.
The program goes beyond personal experiences by welcoming professionals in end-of-life care and academia, who interpret the meaning of grief and the importance of support, broadening listeners’ views on how we mourn and comfort in society.
Every sorrow deserves to be heard. Hear My Grief is more than a program—it is an invitation: If you’re facing loss, may you find comfort and resonance here. Warmly welcome to listen, share and heal together.
If you’re willing, let’s talk and listen together, gently and slowly.
