The Hong Kong Pride Parade is the city’s most prominent and representative annual celebration of gender diversity. Since its inaugural event in 2008, it has evolved from a vibrant street carnival into a powerful platform for advocacy and courageous voices.
Our Shared Vision
Each year, thousands of participants take to the streets peacefully and rationally to showcase the diverse faces of the LGBTQ+ community, calling for public respect for differences, the elimination of discrimination, and equal legal rights. The core mission of the parade is to build a society where everyone can feel proud and safe for who they are.
